Type: XC – Cross Country
7 days, 6 nights in different locations, 5 days of cycling from Bucovina to Transylvania, from Țara Dornelor to Pădurea din Șes, along the Via Transilvanica.
We will cycle for 5 days, totaling approximately 200 km, starting from Țara Dornelor, near the town of Vatra Dornei, and finishing near Bistrița, in Pădurea din Șes. We will follow the Via Transilvanica route, although we will occasionally deviate from it to visit various landmarks, avoid sections that are more difficult to ride by bike, or reach our accommodation locations.
We will cycle between 30 and 50 km per day, between accommodation locations, on forest roads, dirt roads, and trails.
In terms of difficulty level, the routes are suitable for intermediate riders; however, the more technically challenging sections can also be covered by walking alongside the bike.
At the end of each stage, for those who wish to cycle more, we will have the option to do additional 20–30 km loops to explore the surroundings of the accommodation areas: Poiana Negrii in Țara Dornelor, Lunca Ilvei in Țara Ilvelor, Tihuța Pass (Bârgău Mountains), or Lake Colibița (Călimani Mountains).

We meet in a village, in Dorna County, near Vatra Dornei.
After check-in, we can take a short ride around the village surroundings.
