IPcrank 2024 Mountain bike Tour in Romania
Every season, a group of IP attorneys are gathering for an epic mountain bike trip, somewhere around the globe. For the 2024 edition they decided to explore the Romanian Carpathians, and they have chosen us to be their hosts.
For us it was a great joy and honor to share and ride our home trails with the IPCrank team, one of the best groups we ever had.
We had 5 great riding days, passing from Transylvania to Bucovina, over the wild Carpathian Mountains, enjoying the idyllic countryside, the deep forests and the thrilling single trails.
The tour chosen was a custom Epic Trail version.

“We are a group of IP attorneys from all over the world who meet once in a year in a remote mountain region of the world to do a serious all-mountain/enduro MTB trip – but in style! We have been to Canada, the Pyrenees, the Alps, the Abruzzi. We always use a local guide for our tours and value good accommodation and good local food besides challenging ascents and descents. So over the years, we have gathered some experience what guides can and will do.
We did a five-day point-to-point tour through the Carpathians with Carpathian Dreams in September 2024, where a van hauled our luggage from place to place.
Calin and his team from Carpathian Dreams were among the best guides we ever had. Careful guiding with the group in mind, detailed knowledge of the history of the regions and the trails, a stunning landscape, super and highly individual accommodation with excellent local food.
The guide team was super. Cristi was a super-competent bike mechanic who quickly fixed all mechanical issues and fine-tuned the bikes. And Marcos and Cristi provided ample technical advice how to better master the most difficult sections of the trails.
We had a wonderful week. Five stars.”
